San Marino Center Virtual Tour
Unfortunately we cannot offer in-person tours of the existing building due to COVID-19. However, we hope you find this virtual room-by-rooom tour of the existing building helpful!
SAN MARINO CENTER community committee
At its July 31 meeting, the City Council directed that a community committee be formed to consult on the San Marino Center Renovation project. The Council specified the following membership "categories:" two people with design/architecture experience, a senior, a parent, a Recreation user, a member from a Library oversight group, someone living close to the facility, someone from one of our community civic groups, and an at-large member. The Committee's membership is now set and we are delighted to share the names of our group:
- Al Boegh
- Raymond Cheng
- John Chou
- Toby Chou
- Steve Domier
- Jaime Gertmenian
- Jennifer Giles
- Angela Liang
- Calvin Lo

Building Plans
Below you will find links to both the original 1950s plans for the San Marino Center as well as the conceptual plans created in August of 2019. The conceptual plans were only created to help inform staff about the cost and feasibility of the project, and the City Council has opted to not proceed with these plans. Community input will be the primary driver of the new design! Even though these plans will not be used, we thought they could be a helpful tool for visualizing the project .
