Find a Test Proctor

What type of exams does the Library proctor?

The Library only proctors paper exams. Students are responsible for having their institutions send their exams at least 24 hours prior to the testing date. Students are also responsible for providing stamps and envelopes for any exam that needs to be mailed back to their institutions.

The Library also does not proctor high school exams.

Where will the exams be held?

The exam will be proctored in the adult area of the Crowell Public Library. The Library cannot guarantee absolute silence, privacy, or constant supervision.

How much does this service cost?

Exams cost $30 each, payable on the day of the exam at the circulation desk.

How does the exam process look like?

The first step in the process would be to forward the information of the Test Proctor Coordinator to your instructor/professor/institution:

Rebecca Russell
626-300-0777 Ext 542

Once you complete the first step in the process, please remember to follow up with the Test Proctor Coordinator to schedule a specific day and time to take your exam. We receive a high volume of proctor applications from students and cannot follow up with every student individually regarding scheduling exams. Exams must be scheduled at least 7 days in advance. The Coordinator will discuss with you regarding specific scheduling times.

Absolutely no rescheduling, please make sure the exam date is one that you will be able to honor, we cannot reschedule exams.

It is also the responsibility of the student to ensure the institution sends the exam/exam instructions to Crowell Public Library prior to the test date. Students must bring a valid photo ID on the day of the exam.

Are there other institutions around the San Marino area that offers test proctoring services?
