local area emergency - march 17, 2020
On March 17, 2020 the City of San Marino declared a local emergency for the response to the COVID-19 virus. The federal government, State of California, Los Angeles Board of Supervisors, and the Los Angeles County Health Officer have also taken action to declare public health emergencies. On March 19th, both the County and State issued “Stay at Home” orders. The County’s order is in effect through April 19th, and the State’s order is in effect until further notice.

The City of San Marino has also set up a hotline for residents, especially those who are at-risk and in need of special resources and services. The number is (626) 300-0731. It will be staffed during regular business hours (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Thursdays, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM Fridays). After business hours, residents can leave a message and will be called back the next business day.
